Community Advisory Board

WPFW Community Advisory Board
WPFW’s Community Advisory Board reviews WPFW’s program goals, analyzes the station’s progress towards them, and evaluates how the station is meeting the community’s needs. This might involve holding a series of public meetings, or doing constituency interviews, or acting as a soundboard for WPFW’s Programming Director.

The CAB’s role is strictly advisory and it operates independently of WPFW’s management and its Local Station Board (LSB).

Members serve a one year term which begins in January and can be renewed for two additional years.

Applications for the 2012 Community Advisory Board are available now. To be considered for membership, you must submit your application prior to November 30th!

The public is welcome to attend CAB meetings. Meetings are held at the station. If you are unable to attend, but would like to submit your concerns or comments about programming to the CAB, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 202-588-0999 ex. 360. Copies of minutes from CAB meetings can be obtained below.
